So I copied down all the info of a CC, and obtained info on the owner.
Used this info to open up an Ebay account in their name and also a paypal account with their credit card.

I have listed a WOW account under my own Ebay account for just over $400.
My plan is to log in under the stolen card-owner's ebay account (created by me) and buy my own listing of the WoW account.

So am I going to go to jail or what?

Did you use a proxy did do this from ur house? the card owner will call his bank and go wah wah wah get a new card and get his money back, if he dosnt make a police report nothing will happen, I dont think the bank is going to call the fraud squad over $400 theres bigger fish out dar. Oh and BTW ur PP acc is going to have a nagitive balance.

Yea I proxied up. Also I am using a stolen computer and leeching off unsecured wi-fi. So I think I'm safe there.

But will my paypal really go negative? From my perspective, I sold my account and I sent him the username and password. Why should I be liable if my customer stole a credit card?

Yep, He's going to jail, He copied CC details down and that person lives in the same city has him and its very unlikely that some International hacker was to buy a WOW account from the same city as the buyer and the seller.. The owner of the CC will be told the name the PP account and if he knows you, its not going to be looking good... withdrawing money from paypal is wire fraud and you could get up to 20 years in jail. With the identity theft you can add 1 to 5 years.

This is a terrible idea.

PayPal will refund the buyer 100 percent of the time when it comes to virtual goods like this.

You don't own the WoW account and had no business selling it. There's not even any argument you can make or anything you could say to PayPal, the buyer would get their money back 100 percent of the time because you didn't actually sell them anything. I know this for a fact because I've dealt with PayPal on this issue several times. There are ways around this, but as far as what you're doing, you're going to end up with a negative PayPal balance and you're probably going to get busted.

God you fail. Why the fuck would you do any of this shit. You should have just bought some shit on craigslist or something and then resold it for cash. Why the fuck would you pick a WoW account of all things. You would have been better off selling him a $400 picture of your dick.

I hope you realize that you can't sell WoW accounts on ebay anymore. No more digital goods or some shit like that. If they find out you're selling your account they'll cancel the auction. So there's nothing for you to worry about.
