I'm going to Uni so I can design stuff just like that, except to do it with more brain interface.

I still think that the Nano Technology theory is much more interesting. Not only could it get a person in a wheel chair walking again, it could potentially re-activate the persons legs. It is also believed that you could inject it into someone's body, and have it attack certain virus cells (such as HIV) or even cancerous cells, and eliminate them. Even build military body suits, that would function just like body armor, except be much lighter.
