Ok so pretty much all music people dance to it and come together in groups and dance together. What is it about music that makes people do this? Why don't people dance to other sounds such as birdsong or traffic? Also why do people not dance without music? Why can't people dance in silence?

I guess with some people a constant beat in addition with music just make you "move" without even think about it. For example, I'll be listening to music, and without even noticing, I'll be tapping my foot to the beat.

I suck at dancing traditional regional music.

I suck at dancing pop songs.

I actually suck at dancing pretty much everything that isn't slow, close, cheek with cheek, etc.

Strangely enough I like raves, because people are too high to give a shit about how you move, you are to high to give a shit too, or they look lamer/weirder than you.

Damn, I need me some dancing lessons; women love men that dance. Especially 'round these parts.
