I have a friend that has been going to the methadone clinic for roughly a year almost. Well she recently lost her job and wont be able to keep going because she cant afford the payments. She is on about 40 mg's a day I believe. She is sweating this badly and is asking me what she should do.

Well she told me she was thinking about going to the emergency room and telling them her situation and everything, but I said that they might just put her down for drug seeking. I told her maybe its worth a try but im not sure. Has anyone here tried this before? Or should she just go to daymark care center which is a place you can see a doctor for free? I know she probably wouldnt be getting any narcotics or anything, but could she possibly get something to help her sleep and to ease withdrawals? Advice please? thank you totse.

Ps: she was reffered to the methadone clinic because regular narcotics werent treating her pain around the clock.
