And ontop of that, I did have one last match. But fate would have it that I dropped it into a sink full of water (out of all places I could of dropped a match) and now I have to wait for it to dry.


I've never done tried using a dried out from what was just wet match before, and I'm very apprehensive about what will happen. Hopefully they don't rust like metal or short like electronics when water is added.


Maybe I should just get a lighter. I guess I should be happy I hit a bowl first with 1 of 2 I had...

So here's the lowdown on what transpired.

My friend came to pick me up to go smoke more pot and hangout with some other people. By the time he picked me up after the match got wet last night, it was pretty dry.

So the moment was building up. I reach into my pocket for the box with the last match in it. It was time for me to light it, would it work? would it totally fail?



My quivering hand struck the match across the box. The match lit up like it usually does when you strike it but fizzled out and the wood didn't catch. But it was alright because I was then with my friend who had 2 bic lighters and an AC one in his car which comforted me.


But yeah, I learned to buy waterproof matches now.

Invest in those expensive ass Bic lighters. You can wash the bitch multiple times and it still fires up for that explosive flavor of tobacco blasting down my lungs like a hot inferno.

Bic lighters are literally made of pure win. Wash em, lose em, light em up 100 times and all you gotta do is go to the gas station and get a new one. With a zippo and shit I always have to worry about losing it.
