what kind of problems might i be looking at if a cop caught a couple of kids leave my house after i have just sold them 2gs?

Things to consider:
The officer never came to the house to ask us about anything
he only asked the guys if they knew who lived there (they said yes)
they have not said that it was purchased at my house

i have dumped everything i had so i have nothing for the cops to find except a scale which is well hidden. no bongs,bowls or anything of that sortsince i don't do the drug myself.

the kid PROBABLY wont snitch on me but if he did would the cops be able to do anything to me if they didnt find anything at my house on me or in my car??

would they go to the extent of fingerprinting the baggy the guy had on him to get prints?

Possibly, but why would they go to all that work to bust you over 2gs?

And if you have never committed a crime, you don't need to worry about fingerprints, because if you're not on record, they need a warrant to fingerprint you, and they're not going to get a warrant for 2 grams, not to mention the fact that they'd never even take the time to fingerprint a 2 gram baggie. Honestly, I would not be too worried, especially if you don't have anything but a scale. Just make sure your scale is CLEAN. Any residue and things might get complicated.

But seriously, for 2 grams, I highly doubt anything will come your way.

Thanks to the both of you. I was thinking they might fingerprint it in the hopes of finding more at my house if it matched me. But you are correct about the fingerprinting and on file thing.

Talked to the guy a little ago and he said it was his shit. Im thinking my house will be on watch though cause the cops 2nd question to the kid was whos house it is and all that.

might depend on your local PD too. i know the one in McAllen and Mission for example rarely purse anything unless its big or unless it involves hardcore drugs. infact, most of my friends that have been pulled over with weed are usually just told to break the joint or dump the baggie. and if they are arrested they are usually never really asked where they got it.

now other cities like Hidalgo the cops are dicks and will usually try to squeeze as much money and info as they can from evey poor dude they catch.

yeah they kid told me that they didnt even ask about who he might of gotten it from. I'm pretty sure that the house is on watch now cause supposedly right wen they left and all of them got in the car the cop drove past them pulled a u turn and stopped them.

that means the fuzz may have already been watching you. i've been caught up leaving a few drug houses before and they stop the people leaving for a reason. i bet one of your neighbors phoned the police about people coming and going...

hmmm but could they really build a case on me if they cant find anything on me. I mean i know the kid pretty well so if he said he didnt say anything i beleive him 100 percent. I dumped all the shit that i had at that house. selling the rest of the shit i have at another house and skipping town for 10 weeks (i leave tmrw) yes i am pretty small scaled by the way.

building a case could mean any stage of building it.

it starts off with people getting busted and giving up a location. then it leads to people getting popped on their way out and flipping on the person since they were seen leaving the house. they get a few people doing that, survey the house with whatever free time they got and then they serve you with papers.

don't get paranoid that shit doesn't happen to every dealer there is just the unlucky ones.

Will they do anything to you? No. Will they be watching you? Yes. They want a bigger case than that before they prosocute.

All depends where you live. Big city don't worry about shit. Little town then I would lock shit up some. They cant just catch someone with bud saying they bought it from you and then arrest you. The way they would do this is by having that kid they just caught go do a controlled buy on you wearing a wire or some sort of recording device. Then they would knock on your door with a warrant.

There's 1(one) marijuana 'store' here that I know of where anybody can go in and donate money for a sacrement. :O

Unless your friends got pulled over with a kilo of bud packaged in $10 bags with directions to the local elementary school in it cops wouldn't give two shits. Your waaaaay to small time for them to launch an investigation. The patrol car cop isn't shit, he'd have to go to his superiors to get the OK for an investigation. He wouldn't do that for 2 grams or even 2 ounces, fuck he'd be lucky for them to say yes to a 2 pound bust. That investigation would cost $1000's of dollars. They wouldn't waste it on a 2 gram dealing punk kid when they could put those same resources into busting some crack dealers etc... Nobody gives a fuck about weed.

If they DO come to your house (which they won't) just don't even answer the door. They won't have a warrant anyways. If they come back and knock again don't answer. Just completely ignore them. If they don't have any evidence all they can do is bug you until you confess. If you don't confess eventually they just give up and it goes on a shelf in some storage room.

you can read cops minds? damn i envy you bro.. anyways you can't guarentee what you just said to the man, just because that's how it is where you are doesn't mean his town has the same mentality. there are places in missouri that will bust you for possession from the resin in your pipe, demand to know the names and numbers of everyone you know who sells it and lock you up for $200 bail. every place is different.

ever heard of the totem pole? it's how cops work their way up to the big cases. they bust buyers, threaten them until they flip on their dealer. bust street level dealer, threaten them until they flip on the man above them and the process continues. how much weight you got doesn't really matter, it's what information they can squeeze out of you.
