Okay my house got fucking robbed the tuesday right before x-mas. They fucking stole everything including my fucking amazing gaming rig... I had to put together random computer parts i had laying around from my older computers and put another 150$ on this peice of crap just to get it running... Anyways screw the computer, My house got fucking robbed... The police came by and said the robbers were someone close who have been in the house before. So, one of my "friends" for sure...

So what i want to know is. When does the insurance take down all the things i lost and re-enburst me for it all? I havnt got a police report yet. How long does this stuff usually take? Do they usually give the report right away so you can get your insurance claim, or is there a problem with my situation because its been almost 2 weeks, Or does it usually take a while for everything to get processed? They did find a partial finger print so ionno.

If you have experience with this, any help would be appriciated...

These are all questions that can vary from agent to agent so I suggest you contact you insurance rep for accurate answers.

BTW the partial fingerprint isn't going to mean shit if it is a friend's who has been in the house before... unless it was on some broken window glass or something

If you're getting a report then the police department should of assigned you a specific case worker. If you're not sure who your case worker is then I would go down there and see how everything is progressing. Try to get your caseworkers business card too because it'll make things much easier if some complication were to come up. While you're waiting you should gather receipts and/or bill purchases of things that were stolen so you can prove you lost $xxx.xx amount of money as apposed to the insurance company telling you how much your shit is worth.

Your best bet is calling the Police Department and doing the aforementioned and calling you Insurance Agency as noted above.

Good luck and I would never let anyone I currently know in to my house again. That's bullshit and if you find out who it was I hope you know what to do.
