Okay my house got fucking robbed the tuesday right before x-mas. They fucking stole everything including my fucking amazing gaming rig... I had to put together random computer parts i had laying around from my older computers and put another 150$ on this peice of crap just to get it running... Anyways screw the computer, My house got fucking robbed... The police came by and said the robbers were someone close who have been in the house before. So, one of my "friends" for sure...

So what i want to know is. When does the insurance take down all the things i lost and re-enburst me for it all? I havnt got a police report yet. How long does this stuff usually take? Do they usually give the report right away so you can get your insurance claim, or is there a problem with my situation because its been almost 2 weeks, Or does it usually take a while for everything to get processed? They did find a partial finger print so ionno.

If you have experience with this, any help would be appriciated...

an insurance dude will prob come round 2 interview u about shit, then another guy will come around a week or so later and tell u to record your shit down, you will then do that and then give ur info back to the guy and then they will pretty much take fucking ages and give you store credit to a similar amount to a shitty shop for you to go and purchase other shit. Make sure you lie about small things, like you had 10 more playstation games then you actually did because that adds up.

My house was recently robbed just before Thanksgiving. The police came, we sat down, I listed off everything I had stolen. The insurance company may or may not elect to send out a claims adjuster. You will need a copy of the police report, or a police report number depending on your insurance agency. If you have any receipts for anything, the insurance company will want those, and you'll have to sign a waiver so they can see your credit/debit card history for proof of purchase for all the items you report stolen.

Any cash you had stolen may or may not be covered. Certain things such as electronics may only be covered up to a certain amount, so ask your insurance agent if that is the case. Jewelry is another thing that is normally only covered up to a certain amount. As for any damages to your home, the insurance company may or may not reimburse you toward damages resulting from the break-in.

Speed is the most important factor here, so the faster you get your paperwork together and claim sent in, the faster you'll have your check from the insurance company.
Also, filing a claim will probably make your insurance premium go up. My premium is set to rise 30% as a result of my claim.
Be sure to ask if having a home security system will lower your monthly premium, or if they offer any kind of credits for having a home security system. This will help to offset any raise in insurance premium as a result to your claim.

Hope this helps.

Next time you pull this scam, make sure your friend(s) dont leave any fingerprints, if the cops get an identifiable print just say your friend has been in the house previously.... unless its on a drainpipe lol!! Dont worry about the timespan, it'll take months rather than weeks. Be careful what you say to and who you say it to, you'd be surprised how spiteful people can be if they know something on you. Dont text or email anyone about what you've done.

I hope you your claim goes well insurance scams are pretty cool when done right.

Get all the info you need, such as debit/credit card info, receipts, etc ready, otherwise it'll take ages....

Show your insurance company the heads of the perpetrators, and then they will probably pay you about 25-40 gold pieces each.

On a more serious note, I'm sorry this happened to you. You must feel pretty angry that one of your "friends" would do this to you.

You're best bet is to let the law handle it. Just hope that you'll get what it's worth from the insurance.

When my house got broke into, it was winter and we had that plastic stuff on the windows to keep the cold out. There were finger prints on it where they broke through to look out the windows. I told the cops and they told me, "this isnt tv" We will help you fill out the insurance forms though. They are useless. I got hassled from the insurance company too. I never did get back the equal to what got taken. The insurance company asked for proof of some things like original packaging, or instruction manuals. I will remember that in the future, but I have to have alarms now, and they wont cover me without them.
