I have a tattoo between my shoulder blades on my upper back, it is nothing indecent, i was wondering if i would still be eligible for the US Army? do they give a shit about tattoos? I have been searching google and it says you can have them on the back of your neck or small ones on your hands but it says nothing about anything else.

Yes, you can join the Army.

But you won't because you're too goddamn lazy to even talk to a recruiter, let alone enlist.

The only reason that tattoos on the hands or back of the neck are specifically mentioned is because they are visible when you are in uniform

non-excessive and non-extreme tattoos on body parts which will be covered by uniform are entirely permitted

I'm 17 and I'm going to enlist and then go to BCT this summer and then finish up high school when I get back.:)

Thanks that clears it up. :)

I hope you get shot. Repeatedly. In the face.

Along with the rest of the military.

As long as it doesn't impair your ability to shoot little brown kids, I'm sure nobody will mind.

I'm pretty sure you have to have a tattoo to be in the military, it's all about the badass factor. If it's two unicorns butt fucking or something prepare to be raped.

Hey!
That's not entirely fair and/or accurate.

Sometime he might be called upon to shoot little yellow kids as well.

so if you have a tattoo that can be seen with a uniform on.....do they make you take it off?

main question- do those rules apply during a draft?

That's pretty fucking win. I'd imagine that it wouldn't go over well with all the niggers in the military though. Piss all over your stuff to mark your territory and go from there.

Army = Ain't real marines yet

Join the marines and on the questionare, the questions like "Would you kill another american?" "Would you kill your parents?" Put 'yes' Then you'll get sent somewhere sweet like hawaii or the philippines and not some bad place.

In response to your first question you are not expected to pay for the removal but if you do not agree to have it removed at the Army's expense you can be discharged

and I would imagine that during a draft the rule would not apply or it would be an easy route out for draft-dodging cowards

Back in the vietman draft they would get "fuck you" tattooed to their outer pinky finger.
