explorer.exe keeps crashing. And then re-appearing.

As in, my start bar, my desktop icons, my documents, my music, any folders at all... They all dissappear and then re-appear every few seconds.

It means I can't play video games because it disrupts full screen programs, it fucks everything up. It's also incredibly weird.

Any ideas on how to solve it? Anybody had such a weird problem before?

It may be easier to backup your data and do a reinstall

I had the same problem some years ago. Copying explorer.exe from another machine fixed it up good. Hope it works for you.

^This, sometimes works but if it doesn't a simple reinstall would do.
