so few weeks ago my friend let me borrow soulfly's "prophecy" cd.....i thought it was great so i got thier newest cd "Conquer".......and i was hoping to find some other bands with a similar style of combining tribal like music with rock

Yea you should listen to Sepultura's album Roots.
Same singer, similar style.

The guy behind soulfly is called max cavalera, his first band wan called sepultura (legendary) and his new band is called cavalera conspiracy. It's all good. But he is back with soulfly now and i'm going to see them in februrary :)!
