I lost my internet for a couple days and decided to install some of my old favorite games. One of the games happened to be Starcraft and I was wondering what kind of offline play besides campaign could I enjoy? The answer was simple, I needed some challanges. I called up a friend and got him to google starcraft challanges and put whatever he could find on a disk. For the next 2 days I was trying to beat these challanges and actually found it fun to have limitations and handicaps that I had to overcome. I have only made it to challange #8 so far, but I plan to beat all of them hopefully. So if you have Starcraft save the following list of challanges for a boring day and maybe you will like them as much as I do.

Waterboi[h20]'s Presents...
Single Player Starcraft BW Challanges!

Before you start a challange make sure that you have read and understood the rules of that challange. Remember to set the game mode on melee and not free for all. All challanges have been tested and beaten by me. I wish good luck to everyone who attempts to beat these challanges and watch out for my next set of challanges coming soon!

Good thing I still have SC installed because I lost my original disk. Anyways I was able to beat #1 using an early defense of bunkers, marines, firebats and siege tanks. The computers threw a lot of units at me, but I was able pull through and eventually had the middle filled with siege tanks, goliaths and vultures. I actually lost on my first attempt because I didn't have enough defense for the first wave of enemies units, but I quickly learned my lesson. I'll try out #2 tonight when I get some more free time and i'll let you know how it goes; thanks for sharing these challanges.

i have trouble beating the last few broodwar missions

The last couple zerg ones are quite challanging, but I have managed to beat them with some simple stratigy and micro. Maybe try the stratigy guide if your having trouble beating them.

Anyways I tried and beat #2. It was a little bit harder than #1 because of the massive zealot rush you have to defend against near the start. I had to build atleast 10 sunken colonies and some zerglings to fend it off. After the rush I expanded and started hording mutalisks and guardians to pick each protoss off one by one. I look forward to playing #3 soon and hopefully I'll have as much luck as I did with #1 and #2.

Glad to see someone is trying these challanges out. I still haven't managed to beat number 8 yet. My advice for number 3 would be to tech Dark Templars and Corisars to take out the 2 Zerg players and then handle the Terran and Toss with a combo of ground forces. Let me know when you move on to number 4 and i'll help you out if you get stuck.

Happy playing.

I finally beat #3 after two attempts. I just wasn't ever able to expand because of the harassment from the computers. Finally on the third try I teched to Dark Archons so that I could mind control an SCV. I build up the terran tech to siege tanks and then killed both the zerg with siege tanks and dragoons. Once they were out of the way, I expanded four times and then massed as many units as I could for the win.
