so i've recently begun smoking joints. the thing is, the weed i smoke is pretty good, and a full joint of it is really quite a lot (for one person, especially someone with my average tolerance). so i was thinking i could fill it out with some other material. tobacco is the obvious one, and it works alright, i'm just not a huge tobacco fan. there's gotta be plenty of other smokeable plants out there, preferably not psychoactive.

You could fill it with the shit they put in herbal cigarettes. Off the top of my head some of that would be skull cap, wild lettuce, and catnip. Some of those "chill herbal smoke blends" sound like what you're looking for though.

i don't really have access to schwag where i live, i agree it would be a good choice though. i was thinking like... herbs, like how they add cloves to djarums. so i guess that would mean that cloves are an option?

If you're looking for herbs, sage burns extremely well. Catnip and skullcap (if you can find it) also work fine.

Damiana would be a great filler, it is great for rolling because it has a tenancy to stick to itself and keep its shape(due to the little hairs on the bottom of the small tiny leaves of its foliage). The smoke is very very mild too. It is rumored to have marijuana type effects(according to wiki), but nothing other then a little "fog-head" was ever noticed by me..in the many times i have smoked it.

Mullein is also a very very airy in its smoke, just like it is in appearance, light and fluffy... but due to some pharmacologicaly based possibilities i have chosen to avoid it.

I make my own tobacco & herb blend.

Fluffy mullein, de-stemmed damiana foliage, skullcap, Good organic tobacco, a tiny addition bit of a mixture of various other herbs, resins, and woods that i choose not to reveal, and the slightest amount of some (old) marijuana, make for a; nice, not seriously intoxicating, very relaxing, head clouding, pipe smoke.

I usually heat and shake the blend in a stainless container with some fresh moisture/oil evolving ingredients, this adds aroma and prevents the blend from drying out, making it much easier to work with. It will still eventually dry out, thus i make small batches, and store them properly.
