What would happen if you are citizen from another country and are in America on a student visa and you sign up for a 2 year contract for a cell phone. Then, you leave and go back to your country before the contract runs out, throwing your cell phone away and ignoring it?

Would this hurt you later if you should ever come back to america? Would if affect you in opening a bank account or using credit?

Can the company force you to pay even if you are in another country?

Will then send a bunch of littler orange cingular guys after you trying to break your legs?

Cancel the contract and pay the fine for terminating before your agreement ended.

It can hurt your credit eventually after they send your owed amount to creditors who then report it to a credit agency.

It wont effect getting a Bank Account at all unless the case goes to court and you're ordered to pay the bills... then it can be forcibly withdrawn from your account.

No one can force you to pay but you may have trouble getting back in the country the next time you apply and they see you have a Bench Warrant because you missed your court date.
