So I just came home from a friend's last get together before he went back to school. Ive been sick for a bit so I didnt drink that much, but did smoke some weed. I walked in my kitchen not 15 minutes ago and decided immediately that I needed some buttered toast. I popped some bread into the family toaster and then opened the refrigerator to take a peek at what else was available.
The vegetable door yielded a bag full of ripe, perfect, medium-sized Hass Avocados - quite a score! I picked one and cut it in half, as I said PERFECT. I diced the thing up and randomly decided to salt and pepper it. Upon inspecting the spice cabinet I instead found garlic salt and course ground black pepper -- a good upgrade. Just as I finished putting said spices on my avocado halves, the toast popped -- beefsteak dark pumpernickel toast mind you (generic brand I believe).
So I had dark pumpernickel toast and this diced and salt and pepper'ed avocado next to each other.

Mixing them just seemed the thing to do.
It was delicious. The garlic salt and avocado creaminess really gives butter a run for its money here. The garlic and pepper were just great too. Had to eat an antibiotic with this treat unfortunately, but Im definitely remembering this for a healthy snack from now on.
