I recently got my hands on one gram of methylone, I'm expecting an MDMA-like experience. Are my expectations too high? Also whats a good dose? I know you all are going to say "check erowid" but i would like to hear something first hand.

M1 is described frequently as 'adults mdma' so don't expect as intense euphoria.

Prepare for M1 to be illegal early next year if you're in the EU.

200mg is a good starting dose although you may end up binging a little. Shouldnt worry too much about eyeballing it as the dose response curve isnt too steep. I just tend to do lines and then sniff or dab from there...

It's good stuff.

But, it gave me waaaaay worse dry mouth than mdma or weed ever has, it was awful.

And it just sort of finishes abruptly, it's like one minute you're buzzing, and then the next minute you're stone sober, with awful dry mouth and a horrible grumpy mood.

Exactly what reject said, It dehydrates you to fuck and the dry mouth in combination with excessive gurning can get really irritating. Also again as reject said the comedown is so sudden its wears off in a moment. I wouldnt say it has a bad comedown as such but unless you do more you will feel pretty grumpy and wont feel like doing much.

Also I would avoid mixing it with excessive amounts of alcohol... Not that it doesnt go badly together more the fact that your stomach is already full of liquid, your getting more and more dehydrated and have to drink more water which at least for me leaves you uncomfortably bloated and going for a piss every 20 mins.

Its still well worth it though, very nice and about as close to the real thing as a legal will ever get

Imagine that at a rave where you have to wait 15 mins for the toilet because most of the cubicles are taken up by people fucking or sniffing coke/ket and the only cubicles you get are filled to the top and overflowing onto the floor with puke, piss and shit... Then you have to go again 20 mins later...

Saying that I dont really get E dick or have trouble pissing its just the regularity that I have to piss and the effect of having so much water constantly sloshing around in my stomach.

Im not 100% sure but I would imagine there would be a difference as methylone does work on the same receptors as SSRIs do. I dont know how it would effect the experience as there are conflicting reports on the interactions between SSRIs and MDMA. Personally for the short time I was on SSRIs I did MDMA twice and noticed little difference in dose response or overall effects.

MAOIs on the other hand, steer clear...

Im pretty sure it is illegal over the pond and will be soon over here too. Most EU sources say they wont ship to Australia or the US and it is more of a legal grey area over here (plant fertiliser.) I would imagine that some of the RC sources over in the US and Canada might provide them but that would be for you to find!

Ok thanks for the info everyone. I was reading the thread where the guy bought some legal pills of of ebay some doves I believe. Are there any legal pills like at headshops which could possibly give similar effects. I know alot of them are herbal's buy I was just curious.

Actually, I found a site for my friend in Canada and it worked wonderfully. Quite cheap though they temporarily closed because the operators got sick and didn't feel like mailing stuff. They ship to anywhere from Europe but have a disclaimer saying that they aren't responsible for anything if you have it shipped to a country where its illegal or if it gets lost or confiscated along the way.
I strongly recommend methylone, I haven't noticed ANY comedown or even a post-binge depression syndrome. I binged on that shit for so long and the only problem I had was some physical discomfort if I tried to go to sleep too soon, but if I got up and used the computer the discomfort went away.

I've tried it once before, and some of my friends had some as well, on top of MDMA (I didn't have any E), n we all enjoyed it.

I found it made me quite sweaty and gurny, I got quite dehydrated and pissed umpteen times n got worse "speed dick" than with E. It's not as good as MDMA in that it doesn't have quite the same loved up euphoria, and isn't quite as "convincing" a drug, but on the plus side it's rather smooth and social and fun, with a good rush!

I found it less serotonogenic (sp?) than MD, and when you come down, it's hard and fast, but doesn't last much beyond the next day. I felt not bad after 6 hours sleep, and i'd been running around London for 3 hours on public transport whilst coming down from about 6am onwards.... :o :(

As for the price, it shouldn't be as much as you're quoting, although if you can't get MDMA crystal or good Es, then that's "kinda" worth it. I paid like 20 euros or something, though, for a gram, which didn't seem thatttt cheap personally. Enjoy!

There are several very easily found (read:googled) discussion boards surrounding meth and meph. If you make some intelligent posts on there, sooner or later somebody will offer to help you out, or you'll pick up a decent US supplier from the not-so-subtle vendor name censoring they do.

Just remember that for all that is known (be it quite unlikely) the stuff might give you brain tumours. Sorry to sound preachy but people tend to get the idea that legal = safe which as you probably know, couldn't be further from the truth.
