Rule Number 1-this is essential. Always carry the correct amount for the ticket. That way if you do get caught, its only a couple of quid, not a thousand pound fine XD. Dodging the fair is a bonus, with this guide you will manage it most of the time, so to someone like me who uses the train a lot, it does make a big difference over time.
When dealing with conducters, be polite, cooperative and respectful.
OPTIONAL: There is a minute chance of court action. They will take your name and adress. Come prepared, memorise the name and adress (also postcode) of someone you hate. If caught give their address and walk out smiling on the inside.
Furthermore, next time you can bluff and use the same ticket to get a free ride.
Okay, now onto the guide.
The first obstacle you might have to pass is before you even et on the train. Those bloody barriers! First off don't panic. Observe where there is the least staff. Follow someone and go through at the same time. Assume a confident postur and charge through like you own the place.
Now, look for the conducter. He will enter the train at one side and work his way down. Enter at the other side. Now observe. Is their a toilet? If so life is sweet. just go in their! You can feel when the train stops, count the stops and get out at yours.
Walk out quickly yet confidently. Get out of the station ASAP. Last thing you want is some eagle eyed conducter spotting you and making a fuss.
But what if their is no toilet? Then your chances of suceeding lower . However, no big deal. Simply stand behind the natural cover of the walls at the back of the train, and hope for the best.
That is basically the summary of me and my friends experience in the area-hope it helps!
