I am tired off everybody being Meta haters. It is always the same shit Meta is a asshole, retard, cuntbag, douche or whatever. It has been said that Meta has the best interest of Totse at heart and although some of his actions have been questionable I am sure they were made with the best interest of Totse in mind. So stop the Meta hate train and get on with your wonderful lives or is hate all you have left

I agree that the hate on Metaphysicist is way undeserved. In 95% of the cases, it was some goof or other being an idiot that caused the ban, the infraction, or the thread-lock. The few unfair bans I've seen from him piss me right the fuck off every single time, like nshannin's ban for the blank post, for example, but overall I'd say 95%+ of the bans and thread-locks were WELL deserved. People here want to fuck around and be a absolute pokemon door-knob... well they can cry all they want, and IMO we should just boot those crying fuckers too just for encouraging defacers.

No-content shit-drops aren't free speech - they're no-content shitdrops, otherwise known as spam/defacement. Get it right, huh? And yes, if I ever do make mod, which isn't likely considering the personal agendas of some, I'll boot out any no-content fucker I can find. And no, booting defacers and spammers isn't an agenda, it's a promise.

Also when Meta does make a mistake he usually corrects it.As I've stated many times, everybody makes a useless shit-drop once in awhile... that's perfectly tolerable, and sometimes even amusing. The real problem comes in when kidiot clowns come in and use Totse as their personal platform to drop an endless stream of complete shit across a forum or forums. Stop thinking in terms of black and white and you'll probably be a little less mystified.

So you wouldn't ban for occasional lack of content but you would if it was repeated many times making it spam. Then I agree with you. Nobody likes spam.

Nobody likes spam. When I was a so-called hacker-mod, there were more than a few chronic shit-droppers who I wanted off Totse permanently, so I issued first/last warnings to some of the worst offenders, and my intent was to follow through, having noted which ones had already been warned. I had planned on warning them the once, and then booting for 10 days, with intent to request of super-moderator for perma-ban. My crusade was cut short, and so those low-life kidiot's lives were saved. In retrospect, I guess God really does bless drunks and small children. Thank heavens for that, huh? ;)

I would appreciate it if you could elaborate as to what it is you mean by this; as I do not understand what you are implying when you say you can "get so much meat off" of me. Thank you.

c'mon now

That's two faced
if he is doing his job and cleaning up the utter shit then so be it

If you cant accept responsibility for your own actions then dont act like a jackass and dont ignore the warnings he gives out

I have seen him give multiple warnings to certain douchebags and they just wont stop until a ban is given and even at that they come back and start fucking whining

once again saying that if you're going to post something that you know is frowned upon then you brought the infraction/ban onto yourself

fucking deal with it

not a rant towards bluebird but to the idiots who whine about meta

Most posters who claim to hate Meta are just riding the hate train. They're just trying to fit in with the "in crowd".

Meta seems like a cool and interesting guy, plus the amount of effort he puts in is way more than this place deserves. Seems like a stand up guy and I never got why he draws so much flak.

Dear None Other,

There's certainly an element of 'it's cool to hate Meta' about a lot of the abuse he receives. But whether they'll admit it or not, many socially inept teenage male Totseans fundamentally regard Meta as their surrogate e-father. When he locks their shitty threads in SG, or starts talking about rules and regulations, or infracts them for being numbnuts, they are painfully reminded of their own father telling them to clean their room, empty the trash, or that they need to sort their shit out before they become total losers.

This enrages them.

But unlike their own father who they can't call a Nazi faggot without being punched in the face, Meta is largely unable to punish this kind of verbal abuse. The fact that he's physically disabled and has a daughter aren't issues in themselves, they're simply tools with which the Totse child attempts to inflict pain upon it's e-parent. I call this misplaced infantile rage Double Daddy Syndrome; Meta is abused for his own 'fatherly' actions on Totse and also for the actions of the real life father.

It's a vicious circle; the more the child feels it's abused (emotionally or physically) at home, the more abuse they give online. But in a Meta vs. Hater abuse match the ownage usually flows in the latter direction. And the harder the ownage online, the bigger the loser they act IRL, which in turn fuels the abuse which made them such whiny bitches in the first place.

I hope this is helpful in answering your question.

Yours Sincerely,
Dr S. Freud.

Of course it a vicious cycle
funny thing is that these idiots think it actually bothers him and that they are getting one over on meta . I never thought i'd ever agree with you ,but it is childish behavoiur
fucking idiots that simply refuse to take responsibility for their own actions and then they cry about how they have been mistreated and at the same time dont look back at what they did and say maybe i fucked up and maybe i did deserve that ban or thread closure

jackasses need to grow up
he does do alot around here why I am not too sure
i'd assume it is because he actually cares about totse

Dear Dr S. Freud:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this insightful, yet disturbing picture you have drawn for me. Coming from a distraught family of 95,581 myself, I can relate with relative ease to your completely accurate descriptions of the catch-twenty-two-like and so-called Vicious Circle, and I found your dissection of the Double-Daddy syndrome to be absolutely wonderful - not to mention quite revealing, although in a disquieting and queasy kind of way.

I, too, have a son who hates Metaphysicist. My Jimmy will stare at the Totse screen for hours on end, occasionally looking up at me with seething hatred and a frank look of determination. Sudden bursts of activity on his keyboard give me hope that all is not lost, but I now fear to sleep at night, not knowing if I will have to beat my son to death some late night, struggling out from under my covers to battle with the monster I've created.

I blame myself only for how my life has been, as a harsh and demanding father these past terrible years, and, had I been less forceful and unforgiving with my son Jimmy, we may have been the best of friends, rather than the worst of enemies.

I shall be heeding your clever words of wisdom in the days to come, Doctor, and hopefully, with a little love, patience and humility, my son can come to understand me as a person, rather than just another cruel and thankless father.

Until we meet again, Dr Freud. Until we meet again...

Best Regards;

-SpectraL
