Got time to sneak off to the gun show in Lima last weekend. I was kind of hoping to find a complete AR or a stripped lower from a private party but no such luck. Of course the price of AR's, AK's, and SKS's is through the roof. I only saw two AR's for less than $1000 and they were $975 and beat to fuck and back. I can't even remember who's name was on the lowers nobody I had heard of. Most plain jane AK's were near $500, and a beat to fuck and back SKS had a $300 price tag. I was eyeballing a table with Superior Arms http://www.superiorarms.com/products_main.php?pid=22 stripped lowers, RRA parts kits, and RRA 6 position stocks, but it was early and I would have paperwork on the lower. The show opened at 9:00 Sat morning. I got there at quarter after nine and it was packed. I perused the overpriced guns, cheap knives, and assorted and sundry bullshit that makes it way into gunshows but has no reason for being there till about noon. I decided there wasn't anything I really needed but went back and made an off on the lower, parts kit, and stock. After shellling out $310 for all my new AR goodies and running the paperwork I decided to get the hell out of dodge, before I bought something else I really didn't need. About 5 miles from the show I get a call from a friend who I had bumped into at the show. I had asked him about his progressive press and mentioned I was thinking about getting one when I talked to him at the show. He told me a guy had walked in advertising a used RCBS 4X4 progressive press for $200. So I did a U-turn and headed back to spend some more money.
On to the pics. Sorry for the shite cell pics but the wife snatched my cameras memory card cause hers was full. Plus my girl wanted me to sit and watch ScoobyDoo with her and I didn't want to open the bag of oily parts on the bed
The RRA 6 position stock.

Superior Arms stripped lower. A really sweet feature they have is a second hole drilled and threaded behind the grip screw hole. It comes with a set screw in it to adjust the sear engagement down and take up a ton of pre-travel. It made even the stock RRA trigger pretty sweet. It has a fairly heavy pull but the pull is short and it breaks clean.

Assembled with my CZ 22LR upper on it.

Now I just need to decide what I want to do for an upper.
