Hey, this is a brilliant little trick you can pull to easily hide small objects (think drugs! ) in the most inconspicuous of places, a water bottle.
1)By two, identical unopened water bottles. Get a common brand with a firm plastic bottle (think Evian).
2) Open and drain the contents of one bottle
3) Using a knife or scissors, carefully trim away at the section of the bottle just above the label. Do not cut any part of the label. Discard the top part.
4)Take a clear plastic lens from a flashlight, and drill a small hole in the center. Trim the edge of the lense so it is slightly smaller than the diameter of the bottle. Fit the lense in the bottle so it is 1 inch (1.3cm) above the label.
5) Glue the side of the lens in a clear waterproof sealant, like the ones used in plumbing. Fill the bottom with water,
leaving a small gap so bubbles appear when you shake it.
6)Using a knife or scissors, cut a small opening at the bottom of the second (unopened) bottle.
7Using a knife or scissors, trim away the top of the bottle. Make the cut one inch below the top of the label. Discard the bottom part and remove the label from the top part.
8)Take a clear plastic lens from a flashlight, and drill a small hole in the center. Trim the edge of the lense so it is slightly smaller than the diameter of the bottle. Fit the lense in the bottle so it is 1 inch (1.3cm) below the label.
9) Glue the sides of the lens in place with more waterproof clear sealant. Fill the top section with water, but leave half an inch of space for air.
10) Using 1 inch sections of clear tape, cover the cut edge of the top section. All the way around the edge.
11)Fill the bottom section (behind the label) with your top sensitive items. Place toilet paper on the inside to dampen noise.
12)Ease the top section into the bottom section. Make a half inch cut over the top section. It should now slide comfortably over!
