So I just finished watching this on on CTV. But apparantly two kids one in grade 7 and one in grade 8 hacked through there schools security system and just did what ever they wanted.

Suprisingly enough they got caught. Wtf its sad when school administrative people cant set up a system well enough to guard from two elementary kids.....

7th and 8th grade is middle school...

When I was in 3rd grade I fucked around in the DOS prompt on the computers at school. They had Windows 95 I think.

Would you be worried about 12 and 13 year old kids hacking into your system?

They probably just started typing in IP addresses and found an unprotected security server...

Unprotected security...thats a nice oxymoron. Whatever, its the tech people in schools that are morons. From my experience, all but 1 guy I've ever met who worked for the school system has been completely clueless.

In elementary school and middle school, I regularly hacked into the system. I think I actually broke a computer because I didn't know what the hell I was doing. No one ever found out, though.

What the fuck is an "unprotected security server"? I call bullshit.

Answer: Yes. More than I'd worry about a college student.

12-13 years old is the starting age for the typical system cracker. They might not have their full skill set, and may not know much about the systems they're breaking into, but that means they're more likely to break something when they do get in.
