A while back someone posted a link to a site that sold pulled .224 slugs. I did a search but came up empty handed. If whoever originally posted it still had the link I would be grateful.

what do you mean by slugs? like just the lead slug with no jacket? or bullet as in slug? Midway USA sells cheap .224 bullets called dogtown. They are like 10$ for 100

I just bought 1000 serbian made 55gr SP's for $7 or $8 per 100, They're sold in australia as "Highland" (wolf gold is also sold under the highland brand) not sure if it's much help to you tho.

They're not real consistant, different sized lead tips ect but they'll hold 2moa a work well for practicing unsupported shooting or spotlighting.

Sorry, by slugs I meant bullets. Its been a while back but someone had posted a link to them but thats all I can remember. I don't remember weight or style of bullet (hell maybe they were steel core bullets). I was thinking since I have a progressive press now, I would try loading up some blasting ammo for the AR. Before I probably didn't shoot 100rds a summer groundhog hunting so I just bought WWB. But if I could load someammo cheap enough I would shoot it more just screwing around.

T_S, did you get anything done with the trigger on the new Remmy?

No-go on the trigger so far, unfortunatly, I checked out bunnings but couldn't find any close to the same specs (also couldn't find another sized spring for another project that they usually stock :( ).

After I thought about it a while I think the link may have been posted in the thread from the 7.62HIFH thread but haven't had any time to search for it yet.
