View Full Version : i just found a wallet
ok guys i need your opinions. i just found a wallet that has credit cards in it and some other gift cards and the usual nonsense. no cash only $1 and some fucking coins.
i know it sounds like a stupid question but would it be dangerous for me to actually use the credit card and buy shit with it? has this happened to anyone b4?
if theyre stupid, maybe they wrote their pin number somewhere. look for it

If it's absolutly worthless you may as well hand it in.

u can get gas easily, just use the id found inside for area code, but if u return it you might get a decent reward.
if cards have been reported stolen, do not use them, you'd be fucked to the full extent of the law.
if u returned it to him, heck, he may be happy enough to let you keep that dollar.

Not worth it, chances are the cards are cancelled by the time you get to use them, even if you got a COB on them they'd still get cancelled by the owner and your purchases will be stopped/tracked.
Keep them though, can come in handy for switching them with someone else's card which looks exactly the same which should buy you some time and is easy to do switcharoo scams at the ATM.
Obviously you would need the PIN as well.
Yeah they're PRETTY MUCH useless now.
Keep the ID cards though.
thank u guys for your inputs. but how about this. if i was to screw someone over, can i purchase stuff off the internet using the credit card in the wallet and purchased the item putting his/her name and address?
what would happen to that person? can they claim to be ignorant of the scam when they're approached by law enforcers?
oh btw, i have no intention of keeping the stuff though. i'm just purchasing on that person's behalf, giving the impression that they're the one who found the credit card and they're the one who use it online.

Still credit card fraud, and for what? Give the guy his damn stuff back and stop saying stupid shit.

Id toss the credit card(s) and use the gift cards.
