ive been searching around the engine for over an hour now and every one seems to differ in every damn way. anyways im looking to throw in 3/4 Oz shwag to make a nice batch of brownies. im not concerned with any smell or anything, i have a coffee grinder to make powder, and i have all my materials. all im needing is the perfect recipe.

a few ideas on what im looking for...

butter:marijuana ratio, length of cooking, best sized pot for cooking{crockpot?}, cooking with water and butter vs strictly butter, how much water should be used, length it must stay in fridge to coagulate, do cooking times vary with the ready made brownie mix using cannabutter, how many brownies will a 3/4 O make to really fuck up each individual using a 12/8/1 cookie sheet. i have been seeing many say a 1/2 will do justice but many say an ounce herb for 1lb of butter. and lastly is there an absolute saturation when mixing the ground weed and butter?

id like responses from people with actual knowledge on the subject and not just the ones who can use google. because i can almost guarantee ive looked at the page that youre thinking of.

i used this method worked really well. you gotta have a candy thermometer to make sure ur slow cooker has fully warmed up.

i did it with regular butter and then the coconut oil the coconuts is where its at much more absorption.

Nice guide, not to take the thread off topic but .. I had been thinking about making some caps myself .. although he does say to use gelatin capsules but I wouldn't want to as I'm veggie .. would the vegetarian capsules actually work at all?

How the fuck would vegetarian capsules stop the fat soluble cannabinoids from working?

I've never made brownies, but I have a question. It seems like you'd have to use a massive amount of butter to cook nigh on an ounce of bud. Much more than you could put into a batch of brownies without ruining them. Am I missing something here?

I meant 'would they degrade/'melt' in the presence of the oil' .. in the post linked they said not to use them ..
