View Full Version : BLTC 'raffle'

So a few people talking about this on IRC, had the idea of having a 'raffle' of legal items for bltc. It'd pretty much go like this: people would send their items to a trusted person in each country with a return address with it, then that person would randomly send out the items to other people, so each person would send a little present and get one in return .. could be pretty fun.
Thoughts:
1) LEGAL stuff only, could be lots of things like HBWR seeds, cleaned pipes/one hitters etc, rolling papers, 'legal highs', bubblers etc etc etc, just lots of random small value things to exchange ..
2) One for each single country, postage is more expensive over international borders and customs can charge for stuff, things getting searched etc ..
3) Would need a trusted member to do it all, as there'd be members' return addresses on it, although without a username connected to the package it'd be better .. I'd be willing to do it for the UK but don't know if people would trust me enough to do it..
4) Reusable packaging? Just check the contents, close then slap on another address and send it out again ..
Just a few thoughts ..

I think it's a great idea, and would love to participate, but I'm not sure it should leave IRC.

I think everyone could trust me with their address since I'm overseas. Send me lots of stuff, please.

Firebomb would be much more likely to succeed and allow you to escape. Geez, no one knows how to do a quick hit these days.

Why not have all packages sent to a third party totse member. Someone both parties trust. Maybe a super moderator, but that is just idea.
This would calm concerns of people not sending what they agreed to. The moderator could perm-ban anyone who disobeyed the terms set. Both parties would agree to such terms before hand.
I doubt said moderator would undertake such a task as to act as a third party for all transactions, but hey who knows?

I can just see Meta checking his PO box or whatever
"Shit man, where the fuck did all these HBWR seeds and rolling papers come from? Oh well, time to get high!"
*everybody else in the post office is staring at him*

You all should move this conversation to a more private method of communication. I suggest purpose made MSN chat. You can also just send a package to a post office near someone and just give their first name and initials. With this method the person can just say that the shipping information was botched and pick up their package without it giving away their exact location or personal info.
This seems like a interesting idea and I would be interested in joining in subsequent occurrences if this one goes smoothly.

Yeah, let's let the most notorious scammers best friend do it. Let's let the guy who drove off half of fucking BLTC with his scam coverups handle it. Surely he would be trust worthy with all of our addresses.
Mods are trolls and super mods are fucking super trolls.

i'd rather have a baked sale.
Alright this thread is starting to get off topic.
So scrap the third party idea I proposed; seeing as no one here really trusts more then a very few of people if that.(Some don't know members around them for 100's of miles or states). I agree that the details should be worked out in more private methods then posting here. But seeing as how this thread is going I doubt anything like this would really work.
Also I assumed that SN meant that the mods here are trolls in the sense that they post controversial, irrelevant or off-topic messages and need not worry. And also spend more time on here "trolling" through threads. But I don't want to put words in his mouth. My mistake if that wasn't what you meant SN.
