For a minute, I thought it was one of you fucks who did it.

But anyway, Any way to track this guy down? I have no idea if he lives on the street, or came from somewhere else for the sole purpose of stealing shit. No one else had anything stolen in the immediate area.

The only way I thought off would be to go and get my window repaired, go buy a new GPS, put it in, and put the car exactly where it was before. And have a camera on it to catch the face of the guy.

From there I enlist my cop buddies, to see if the face matches any people in the system within a 5 mile radius of my house. From there i get my revenge, and than the fucker gets arrested.

suggestions? opinions? confessions?

You're an idiot.

You're too young to own a car. It's your parent's car. Their insurance covers theft. They claimed your GPS on the insurance and pocketed the $250.

Sucks for you. When you're an adult you can buy your own car with your own insurance. Until then just complain to mommy and daddy for a new GPS... You'll get it. All you middle American fucks rely on your parents anyway.

I'm sure the cops would be all over the case, who wouldn't want to solve a bullshit burg to auto. Next time you'll take your GPS with you.

Im not a kid. I own my car. Which I bought with money I made myself.

No I dont expect regular cops to solve this, however having your best friend be a cop sure helps. This isnt the first time this happened. The other time the guy actually dropped his wallet by the car....Not saying this one would go as smoothly, but you never know.

And yeah my insurance covers it. Both the GPS and the window. But its the principal of the thing. You dont mess with me or my stuff without at least some ass kicking occurring.

In that case:

I don't appreciate you "Taking the law in to your own hands" by wasting my tax dollars and "hiring on" your Police Officer friend. How about instead of having him find the big bad guy who stole your GPS he can actually be protecting the community.

And, if I may add, I would also like to point out that you've made it fairly clear you have a Law Enforcement related friend. Why you're pushing that point is mystery... but I will say that if your friend finds the guy the case will almost positively be thrown out due to a conflict of interests or miss trial.
