I am streaming live television with my tv tuner capture card, but cannot get sound to go along with it. I use orb to stream, and what I've heard is people plugging the line out from their cards to the line in on the computer to stream sound, but my tuner card doesn't have an audio out. It has a connector from the card to the motherboard.

So the motherboard has 2 different plugs for the cord from the card, one is green the other is black and they are back to back, when i plug it into the black, sound works fine with the streaming tv, when i plug it into the green, the sound is somewhat muted but still hearable. And when i watch the streaming tv from my laptop, the audio comes out of the pc speakers, so I ran a 3.5mm from the line out to the line in on the pc, didn't work to send sound to the laptop as I had hoped.

So maybe there is a way to splice the cord that goes from the card to the motherboard and connect it with a 3.5mm to run into the line in, but I have no idea how to do that or if it would work.

Any Suggestions?
