View Full Version : What do you think of these "revolutionary" rappers?

Immortal technique or Jedi mind tricks, for example?

Even if all the shit they speak isn't true, I prefer for people to hear that instead of the governments bullshit.

It'd be nice if they were left leaning, I don't really think they are though. Just looks like they're cashing in on a market where young people still relate to rap because it has social mouthpieces to tell of their woes. If they are serious about leftism in any way good for them. They're using a medium that people too stupid to conceptualize the ideas for themselves (lack of intelligence is likely to be the main cause) can understand.

Sidenote: does anyone else get pissed off with the words "revolution" and "revolutionary" being used to describe in part or in full, anything leftist? What a farce .

I like hiphop but I think IT sucks, his voice is annnoying, flow is bad and his lyics are plain and boring.

O.K. Fill me in. Every rapper in the game simoulteneously tuned to bitches, and retards January 1st 2003. When I went to Best Buy by summer '03, every rapper on the entire west coast, had turned into a pop bitch. I thought it was either a media blackout law, or a conspiacy.

Do guys know something I don't?

immortal tech's pretty good but there are many more important and proficient rappers like ill bill, brand nubian and dead prez. I like him though and tend to "bump" land of the gun and similar songs.
