she's not my best friend, but she's a good friend who I care about
Before break she was threatened by her boyfriend who caused a ruckus in the dorms, almost broke down the door to get to the floor
Apparently over break, she was hit by him... he's pretty belligerent when drunk

She's still with him.

I don't want the situation escalating, I also don't want to offend/upset her.. but I want to make sure she's protected.

&T - what would an appropriate action be?

1. She's asking for it

2. This isn't the movies where you stand up for the chick and she comes running into your arms. It's real life where the beligerant boyfriend tries to stab you with a broken beer bottle.

The appropriate action would be to mind your own business.

Yeeeah, you just say that you'll be there for them if they call...

They never do but you get brownie points anyway.

Have you tried talking to her about it?
If she tellls you to mind your own business and stays with him, it's her fault what happens.

Confront the guy and see if he remembers then maybe recommend he get some counseling (anger or alcohol) because of his actions.

Nothing you can do. You tell her she doesn't need to be hit on she says "it doesn't hurt" you tell her he needs to treat her right she says "but he's soooo sweet sometimes." Women are stupid.

Or you know, get stabbed.

But only if you want to.

Any girl who's spineless enough to stay with a boyfriend who beats her doesn't deserve your protection.

Stupid bitch.

She doesn't deserve your help, but he doesn't deserve to be allowed to live. Fuck him up so he never knows where he even is anymore.

I had a friend whos bf beat her, I didnt know until I raised my hand to give her a high five and she flinched.
Well I put 2+2 together and went and kicked the fuck out of his useless ass.
The next day she came up to me screaming how dare I hit her bf, she stopped talking to me all together except to say if I ever touched him again shed call the cops.

Long story short, do the right thing and she hates you.
Do nothing he has no repricussions.</howeveritsspelled>

I would do it again everytime though.

First of all, she may have a had a bit of rough sex with him. Secondly, she may have deserved it, she could've punched him, so he punched her back. It's called a fight. They happen.
