We had a database crash and it took a long time to repair the "post" table, where all of the BBS posts live. Everything is working fine now and we're back on-line. I found the cause of the problem and took steps to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

I must say that this downtime has been the most enjoyable experience I could have with a downtime. I, and I'm sure everyone who has been through a period of totse downtime, appreciate the notification of the error rather than just a "loldatabasesux".

I'd hardly describe these load times as "fine", but since this is the same guy that mistakenly believes his admins are doing a "good" job then I guess we just have to consider the source. :(

No shit Totse has been so fucking slow lately. Man honestly this problem is going to cause alot of traffic loss. BBS shouldn't take so long to load. I really spend less time on Totse because of this.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

For about 5 minutes it's "regular" for me, then it goes back to slow for about 20 minutes.
