Especially early on in the relationship - Like just when we start showing interest or upon first meeting. Once we start dating or even are just comfortable around each other (friends) I'm fine. But early on I seem to dwell on the fuck ups. Even if she shows no signs of dislike or that she is still thinking about said fuck ups.
Things like: Asking for a number or date too soon, making an off colour joke, anything while drunk, making a move too soon or at the wrong time, etc.

Do you want advice or something? Your post doesn't seem to have much of a point

Edit: Yeah sorry. Advice would be good. Thread name should be "how to..."
Anyone else experience anything like this. Again for emphasis it could be someone who i'm not even into romantically and early on in meeting them.
If you're with the type of girl who gets offended by your jokes, doesn't give you her number, gets uncomfortable when you make a move and doesn't understand you for what you do when you're drunk...Then your only "fuck up" would be choosing her in the first place.
If you think you've fucked up, what does it matter? I mean, the fact that it's in the past makes it fairly immutable. All you can do is keep going and try not to make more of an ass of yourself. Or accept your actions as a reflection of you and based on the reactions of other people determine whether you're compatible for a long term relationship or friendship with them anyway.

Chichi, I feel as though all of your posts end with a ":o". Why so angsty?
OP: don't dwell on fuckups, if she continues dating you, then there's nothing to worry about. Everyone makes somewhat embarrassing and nervous "mistakes" when they first meet and go on a first date. That's just how it goes. You're just overanalyzing how you act on a first date. No worries, you'll be fine.

'Cause I'm fifteen and have an on-off, love-hate relationship that makes me extremely fucking insecure and spiteful.
I am a fucking angst factory.
If a girl doesn't like my jokes I don't even associate with her.
Just take it easy. Go with the flow. Listen to some reggae or something.
Care less about the small things. Seriously. Are they worth the worry or mental effort to dwell on? At least you're not alone and empty.
Marie Barone: Debra, don't let a suitcase full of cheese become your big fork and spoon.
Mull it over.
