For starters, I can say from a second hand source with confidence that some of the easier places to steal from are clothing stores, and the clother supposedly high resale values; so the purpose of this thread is to see what theft prevention in the form of hard tags different stores use (in particular clothing stores and department stores). Please contribute in the format below (Name: Type(s) of tag commonly used)

I believe the Ultragator hard tags by Sensormatic are magnetically unlocked like the Alpha tags by Checkpoint.

I know that magnets can open the ultragator tags, what level should be good to use at minimum...N45? I could get N52 grade magnets.

A lot of electronics are secured with these Alpha Spiderwraps (http://www.alphaworld.com/pdf/WSpiderWFA.pdf) especially the 2alarm variety which sets an alarm off if the wires are cut. I've been trying to figure out a way around this, and short of somehow stealing or buying one of the keys (http://www.securitytagstore.com/product.aspx?name=Alpha_S3_Mobile_Detacher_HandKey _-_AM) I can't think of anything. Does anybody know how to deal with these?

As You All Might Now By Now - Sensormatic Hooks Are Used To Remove The Whole Line Of Supertags At The Time Of Purchase.

The most current price is posted in the pictures. prices are going up because demand is going up and supply is going down.

Yea if you want to overkill...N45 is as overkill as it is to open all the tags that open with magnets, N52 would just be retarded

I bought an Alpha S3 Key, but they are very impossible to find so if you want one you can pay me 100usd to give up the site that deals them or you can do some more research on how to open them

reason i won't give up the site cheaply is because you can buy any kind of detacher so its a big deal to keep it hush hush

From my point of view, I can get a really cheap N52 ring magnet, 1.25" diameter, which would be really useful for only $5.25, I may as well. But I also agree that N52 vs. N45 is a bit overkill.

Fool insider secrets are worth that much. and they sell your hooks at about $57 USD that price is INCLUDING STANDARD SHIPPING or $81 USD that includes FULLY INSURED EXPRESS SHIPPING AKA Almost next day delivery

plus from my site you can buy the Alpha S3 Key, along with Magnetic Detachers and Just about anything else, No questions asked, No needed proof that you run a legitimate business.

You can't find a store in the USA that will sell you detachers nor can you find one in most of the world....plus i don't want to give away this site to some broke idiot who will just get caught with the detachers....when everyone finds the place to get detachers, the companies will make new security tags and detachers.

So if you want insider information...gotta pay $100
