"In order for this to work you will need the change for the first game (how ever much it costs)"

Well today a friend and I decided we wanted to play some pool, so we go to the local bowling alley

The pool table that we used cost only 4 quarters.

I began to get bored so I started experimenting with the coin slot.

This is how I did it. Hypothetically of course

I am not sure if this works on all pool tables it might depend on the brand, how much a game costs and the age of the table. This will only work on a push coin slot not one where you put multiple coins in one slot

Start by inserting the coins in the coin slot.

Slowly press the slot in listing for a click

(On the table I used there were 7 click noises)

Push till you hear the 6th click

....WARNING......

DO NOT GO TO THE 7TH CLICK THE COINS WILL GET STUCK AND YOU WILL HAVE TO NOW PUSH THE SLOT ALL THE WAY IN AND PAY FOR THE GAME.

When you are on the 6th click ether half the balls or all the balls will fall to the ball return. Sometime you have to pull back on the coin slot hard for the balls to drop.

If only half the balls fall then keep redoing this till you get all 15 balls to drop

With my experience all the balls but two or three would drop so id have to ether shake or tilt the table a little bit

If you tilt the table. Tilt the table so the balls move up against the small see threw window...

If this doesn’t work you ether have to shake the table more or maybe it won’t work on the table your trying.

Also try shaking the coin slot.

The table I accidentally did this on was a Valley Cougar pool table the four corners of the table

Were chrome plated with a symbol of a cougars head on the four corners this is the one most popular in bars around here. This is a one dollar table

................THE REASON THIS WORKS.................

Each click you hear is the wall or dam that keeps the balls in. It rises little bit at a time. with each click it gets higher on the 7th click its fully raised but its possible for the balls to slide under on the 6th causing the machine not to take the coins

Technically this seems to also mean that any quarter sized metal piece would work since it doesn’t read the quarters like newer pop machines

This guide is for experimental use only

You should only do this on pool tables you own your self that you don’t have the keys for anymore

If you are stupid enough to try this please don't do it right where the owner can see this is illegal and considered stealing. There may be fines and penalties if caught. I take no responsibility in how you use this text
