Wayyyyy back in the day, I used to mix hip-hop and that, many years later now I'm in a very different scene with very different tastes but am getting back into the decks. I'm looking for some good new shit to spin up; my current tastes lie along the lines of:

Astrix... and a bunch of other artists whose names I can't recall off the top of my head as they're mostly present in compilations and mix discs mates have given me. Throw me some names I can research; I'm more into downtempo/psybient and good, funky jungley morning psy then very dark squarewave sorts of stuff...

Fuck, I should know some psy trance...But the only one I can think of right now is Lost Keys. Might post later after I hit up some friends who are into it. They know all.

eat static- good psy-trance from britain. made up of two former members from ozric tentacles. abduction and back to earth are both very good.

man with no name- more goa/psy from britain. he only has three albums and they're all worth listening to.
etnica- goa/psy from italy. check out the album equator.

younger brother- simon posford project with Benji Vaughan. all their albums are really good.

conspirator- disco biscuits side project made up of the bassist and the keyboardist. the key is their only album and it is excellent.
