So today in class, in an effort to actually talk to people I have class with and get to know them, I said something to this guy who has sat near me the past two weeks and made occasional comments to me like "man the book for this was expensive" etc. He has a pink bookbag for some reason, but he doesn't look like the type to be gay, so I said to him "I bet there's a funny story behind that pink bookbag you got there."

And then he said "YOU'RE A FUCKING PRICK! FUNNY STORY? YEAH MY LITTLE SISTER GOT HIT BY A FUCKING CAR. THIS WAS HER'S." And he was really being loud and making me look like a complete douche. So then I just muttered that I was sorry, he kind of teared up for a few minutes and then just as the prof was about to start, said he didn't feel right with me in the room, and so she asked me to leave for the day, and said she would send me the notes. So then I got up and left.

First pepper sprayed, now this. What the fuck?
