2 quick questions:

1. Is there anyway to grind up poppy pods without using a coffee grinder ?

A knife doesn't work well, it takes a lot of work (not that I mind that) and it doesn't get powdery enough.

And don't say a juice maker cause it broke already.

2. How do you, if you do, prepare pod tea ?

I just grind a few up, put them in a pot, put some water in there and put it on a low fire till it reaches near-boiling point.

Then I let it cool down a little and filter it through an old shirt and drink.

So yeah, those two questions and maybe if you have a few pointers (like potentiators, recipes, whatever, anything will do, it doesn't even have to be tea)

And OP, careful not to OD. In case you haven't done your reading, the tea's active ingredient is morphine, a highly toxic (but equally awesome) substance that's not hard to die from. Start small.

I'd like to think I'm up to snuff with the drug world, and I'd never even heard of dode. I look it up and guess what I find: alarmist media fuckers.

Anywho, it's not legal. DEA says if it contains ANY opiates in it, it's illegal. If they wanted to, they could arrest the folks over at McCormic spices for selling opiate containing products.

It's just a question of enforcement. I could go on EBAY and buy a gram of morphine for $40 in the form of poppy pods. Then the DEA could come and put me in jail for 10 years.

Why?

They don't generally enforce these rules for stuff for nonrecreational uses, like poppy pods for art and crafts, poppy seeds for food, or poppy flowers in your garden.

But if they think for a minute they think you plan to extract that stuff, they'll be on you like stink on shit.

And while tons of people buy pods on ebay for the purposes of getting high, don't think that they're legal. The DEA's just being nice/has better things to do.

So to tie my stuff together, the stupid alarmist media will eventually bitch and people will hear it, and then the DEA will stop people selling poppy pods on ebay. That ruins it for everyone.

Every word of this. As a matter of fact, the fewer threads about this, the better...Though we don't like to think so, chances are that this website is being monitored by someone, and at any given time.

Now, I'm not implying that someone's going to kick down your door for possession of poppy straw, but it seems like someone on eBay is busted at least once a year.
