Maybe not all, but this one in particular.
So I met this girl and we started talking. She is friends with my friends "partner". So basically the last few weeks my friend and I have been inviting them to do stuff every now and then to which they accept.
She asked me one night if all I wanted to do was root her, and I said no. I started texting her now and then and she ended up saying she thought I was really nice and she wants to get to know me, the only problem being she lives about 12 hours away and is up here on holiday. I pretty much said I thought she was nice also, and after that didn't receive a reply. I waited a few days then sent her a message saying what's up, she replied, I replied.. then again, nothing back from her.
Another 2 days pass and then I finally get a message saying "Hey babe what's up etc". I reply with a simple "not much you?". She then starts telling me that because my friend and her friend aren't "seeing" each other anymore that we probably wouldn't see each other anymore either.
Now to me, this could have meant one of two things.
1. She wanted me to reply saying we should still see each other.
2. She seriously wanted me to fuck off.
I thought what the hell and texted her back anyway number 1 just in case she did mean that. If she seriously wanted me to fuck off then she'd most likely just say no.
So she replies back saying she does want to meet up with me and will see if she can and to let her know. Sweet, I think to myself.
Next day (yesterday) I sent her a message asking if she wanted to meet up... No reply at all. I don't really care too much I'm just confused as there could be many things going on here. Such as;
1. Her just fucking me around for the sake of it.
2. She likes to keep her options open and feels it's necessary to leave dudes hanging.
3. Maybe she never actually got my text due to some unfortunate phone service fault.
4. Maybe she actually did just want to root me and that's it.
5. Whatever other reason you people can possibly think of.
Even if you don't like a person and they ask you to do something, wouldn't you just say a simple no? It's like when she texts me, she seems REAL interested, but then she can turn around and not text me at all for days. Seems a little fucked up, right?
