Thinking about picking up one or the other... I like the looks of the Sig better, but from what I've read it's main spring is supposed to cause problems or something.
This gun is more than likely going to my girlfriend, just looking for which would be the better choice?
PPK is gonna be 400-450
Sig is gonna be 450-500
... Now that I look at the price again I realize I can buy the G26 I've always wanted with the money on this... what to do what to do...

Try the Bersa.
If and only if she doesn't get slide bite from the PPK, restricted solely to the two you want, I'd suggest the PPK.

If you want to keep it for a while, Id get the Sig.
They are excellent with customer service in case you ever have a problem with the gun. They also offer service packages(refinish, new springs, detail stip etc.) at very reasonable prices.
If you arent sure if its going to you or your girl why not just get the 9mm? Im sure she could handle a g26. If she isnt going to carry it, she may be better off with a g19. If she cant get her hands around that frame, an XD or M&P is also worth a look. The M&P has 3 backstrap sizes.
Smaller dosent always mean better. Having a short sight radius makes it harder to shoot well, especially for beginners. If she is scared of guns less barrel length and weight is only going to make her flinch more.

I love Sig handguns, and their night sights/spring replacement deal for a little over a hundred is great.

*reminisces on the ppk/s he bought for $180 in perfect condition but no longer has*
:(
Never shot a sig, but the ppk is kind of outdated. If you wanted a small 380 kel tec makes nice models (also models in 9mm), but i can't really say either way if you're stuck on the two models listed.
