It's true that there was a point in time when domain names were like real estate - you buy what you can and what you think looks appealing to the future and possibly sell it off for a good profit. If you could buy a domain name, whether it's already taken or not, what would you get? Would you want one for a business investment, lulz, personal space, revenge, or what?

I would probably take business.com because I here that that domain is the most valuable.
