I was opening up my PS2 to clean the lens... so i started by removing the screw coverings.

I opened one, and low and behold, there was a dead worm-like thing, wrapped around this stuff which looked like cotton/spider web, which was wrapped around the screw.

I sort of freaked out and started stabbing at it/the webbing with a screwdriver, but here's a pic after i realised pics might be a good idea: (Screenshot of webcam)

I should note that the screw is meant to be black...

Looks like Sony's factory floor quality control must be pretty poor.

Any ideas what kind of bug this is? It's gold and has a cotton like web that it makes, and its a bit like a worm.
