So, I couldn't sleep due to the present condition of my life, so I went onto the OSAP website, and found out i qualifed for like $11,000 :O

so i decided that i am moving out so i dont have to commute for 3 frackin hours to get to school and back and sit there just dying because of how long the commute is. i figured if i move out ill actually attend class (ive somehow managed to still get a 2.0 gpa )

So, does anybody else live in downtown toronto, what can you tell me about

1)the living conditions (im lookin to spend 600-800 a month on rent is that even possible? i saw an ad for 300, but i prefer not to live in a COMPLETE SHITHOLE)
2)where is a good location (my school is located on young and king)it doesnt have to be nicest place, but i would prefer a no nigger area,
3)how is life on your own? how much a month do you spend on food?
4)Is there any danger of people taking advantage of a single youth living on his own (i.e coming in to my house and getting taking things)
5)anyone else live in DT toronto?
6)what can you tell me about student aid

hopefully for the next 3 years ill be finish my sack marketing diploma at george brown college, and than finish it off at ryerson for a commerce degree. (i can get a 4 year degree in half the time , due to a transfer program at my college)

the danforth, not really downtown but its right on the subway line anyway, you could get down to where you want in 15 minutes or so.

Never. My grandpa lives there. Like literately a 3 minute drive from the jane and finch mall. (He moved there when the area was 50% Italian 40% jewish back in... a long time ago). I've been there hundreds of times. The most recent was this Christmas. Drive down that street and count the white people you see. Don't worry, it wont be hard assuming you can count to 0.

My grandpas next door neighbors got in a gun fight with the police when they were busted for a grow op. No one got killed because they surrendered after a minute but still, those gooks will use violence.

There's bullet holes in his back door windows (from an unrelated incident). His backyard backs onto a big public park (its near a public school, maybe you know where im talking about). If you watch for 10 minutes you will see several drug deals go down. I've seen a gang beating once.

There are some white people there. But they are all mostly older people who moved there before the area was a nigger chink crime haven. The only white teenagers I've seen were obvious gang members or prostitutes.

No. But thats probably because IF I need to get out of my car for any reason (like to buy shit in the mall) I do it in the middle of the afternoon. Even then I can tell some people are eying me out as a potential target. I would probably be robbed if I was walking around at night, although I don't intend to prove my assumption.

It might not be as dangerous as I'm making it out to be, but trust me when I say whites are a big target in that area, even you must admit there are very few whites. It is not a good place to live in comparison to the other choices. Basically anywhere else would be a better.

Normally when I go there its just to visit my grandpa. I do however get to see the town, and having driven through it hundreds of times, I can say there are very few white people, and there is lots of crime. Anyways, I've lived near and around downtown Toronto for all my life, and I gotta say, if you're looking for down at king and younge you'll find nothing. Try the south east end, got some nice areas for cheap.
