I wanna get an ethernet port and a TV (RF) port in my bedroom but I don't wanna waste money calling in a technician if I can do it myself. Is it a difficult task for the laymen installing an ethernet port and a TV port and running the wires around the house inconspicuously and all that crap?

What would a technician do anyway would he rip up the baseboards then drill them back on to hide the wires? I know some lazy bastards would just tack the wires onto the wall but I'd rather have them invisible if I can cuz its not my house and I can't go wrecking the place.

This all depends on the house. An easy way to do this is make a hole in the wall about 1" wide and 3" tall. From here feed a long drill bit to the floor (make the hole as low as reasonable) at an angle and drill thru the floor to the crawlspace under the house (if existent). From there feed the wires up thru the floor and fish out thru the wall. Then run a faceplate over them and dress according to preference.

If not you can drop the wires down the wall from the attic if possible. Put some nuts on a string and lower that down inside the wall. Use a magnet to find it and again make a small hole in the wall. Dress according to preference.
