So I just ran by the states attourny to discuss my DUI case comming up next week. And I knew almost all of it, 240 community service or 5 days in jail, probation, a lotta monies... etc. etc.

But random drug and alcohol testing? How long after can they even test for alcohol? A day? Just curious because I don't plan on quitting drinking, fuck that. And how random is random? I've been on court supervision, but not actual probation before...

This isn't a "how can I beat this" kinda thread. I'm just curious how long the shit stays in your system and how they test it. I tried to google it but all links are for breathalizers.

alchohol filters at roughly 1 unit per hour, but residue (as in detectable) lasts for up to 6 hours from when you'r unit(s) have cleared if I rember rightly

i had a buddy on probation for drug charges. he had been on probation for about a year, saw his PO weekly and was tested 3 times over that year. he failed all three but the first two times she gave him a chance and told him to shape up. he decided to test his luck and failed the third one with weed, benzos and opiates in his system and got locked up for a year.. so it's a game of chance it just depends on how much you care about your freedom.

I quit smoking pot about a year and a half ago. There Have been maybe 3 instances in which I've broken that. Um, Don't really pop pills, quit the opies maybe a year ago. I'll still take the acid once in a great while, but I hold on to it when I get it untill a good situation arises.

I don't really have anything to worry about aside from how long they can actually test the booze outside of a breathalizer, because I do like to drink a few times a week, i'm 22 live in a city and have a lot of friends that like to drink. And I like drinking... I quit the other drugs you've never busted me for you fuckin' pigs.

There is a fairly new test that can detect alcohol up to 72 hours after ingestion in your urine. they dont do it as much because it is expensve but every once in a while they will throiw it in the urinalysis.
