I know, this should be posted in OI, but I would never get a response if I posted it there. Anyways, do you guys (and girls) think it is gay for a 21 year old male to drink wine at bars and clubs? Personally I love wine, the aroma, the taste, and the killer buzz it gives you. I just wanted some SG feedback on the matter. Thanks.

I drink wine with some meals and to finish off drinking. After a long day of drinking beer and liquor downing a bottle of red wine helps you relax and get to sleep.

Its not "gay", but it is kind of an odd drink for a 21 year old to get in a bar at prime time.

It's a bit strange, but I agree that it's definitely got a a different buzz about it. Bad part is that you have to drink a lot more of it to get drunk and it can give you a killer hangover if you're not careful.

Fuck anyone who gives you trouble over it, if you enjoy it at bars than good for you.

It depends on where you are, in rural Italy or France red wine is actually the drink of choice of the local rednecks, who hunt, tell racist jokes and vote the national front(or the northern league in Italy)

In the anglo-saxon world however, wine does have more of a metrosexual appeal though, I've noticed when I was living in England that usually it's usually just the girls and openly gay guys who order wine at bars.

Unless it's wealthier folks drinking quality products in wine bars, then it changes.

You only get a poor response in OI because of people like you who decide "oh, nobody ever goes there - I'll post in SG where people will see it!" If people just started posting in the right fucking section, we wouldn't have this problem. :mad:

Anyway, on topic: No, it's not gay for men to enjoy wine. You probably don't want to associate with anyone who would make such assumptions, either.
