Ok so as my other thread will tell you I have a brand new pistol. The point of this thread is, first off where can you NEVER EVER carry a pistol, also where would you not SUGGEST to carry one, and where are places that you have never had a problem carrying. Obviously the first part is kind of based on state by state basis and such and some places are just obvious. Second part is where have you found such as a walmart or certain grocery store or gas station that have a problem with open carrying. The last part of the question is which places seem to accept with open arms those of us that open carry?

I want to get my CCW but because of money and the fact that the next CCW class isn't till april 18th or later I am kind of forced to either open carry or leave my precious baby at home. So for those of you with experince carrying and knowledge on laws wanta help out it would be much appreciated.

Obviously for the first part, banks, schools, public parks(permit aside), and government buildings are off limits for openly carrying a firearm. Thats really all I can think of, my main concern is open carrying to say grocery store, gas station, walmart, and the like. Keep in mind I dress somewhat decent, pants that fit, teeshirts that fit, and the like, not like some kind of retard gang banger, and when I open carry I don't plan on wearing my shirts that might suggest to someone im a dumb ass or a hoodlum punk.

i carry my handgun like late at night when walking the dog. Or when i am up north hiking or out in the forest. If i am driving i don't usually carry it except to up north.

Open carry isnt allowed here, so I cant speak of that.

As far as CCW, I carry wherever I legally can. Even if its just a pea shooter tucked in my pocket.

I realized a couple years back that I tend to encounter stupid criminals when I am not armed, so I carry damn near 24/7 now.
