I woke up with scratch marks on my arms, and for about the next three months I had felt a "devilish" / "monsterous" presence in my room. My mother, a practicing wiccan cleansed and expelled the spirit.

Now, the question is, has anyone heard of this? That astral projection could summon up a bad spirit to haunt a room/family?

I don't think you could do that, but anything is possible I guess.

It can come from items too. If you bring in a tainted item from the outside, thats a possibility.
If anyone's under stress or full of hate...etc

As you can see, it's hard to attribute it to ONE factor.

I myself find I am being led to astral projection in order to gain information. You've heard of the Akashic records?

Very strange that my friend was finding this at the same time I felt I was being lead to astral project. Synchronicities are becoming much more apparent in my life.

I also find that sometimes I am being attacked psychically while in meditation. I've been told this is in preparation for entering the astral realm as well as what is to come in the future and what is happening now in our world and to help strengthen defense. Feels like I have protection, but they are standing out of the way to see if I can handle it or not. So far, I've been able to stand against my attackers, but I have had assistance.
