Totse has become an entity all of its own and for him to just shut it down because he no longer wants do deal with it is very unlike all he made totse stand for.

You did a great job, Metaphysicist. You tried to weed out the bulk of the no-content posters, and you tried to get rid of as many bullshit threads as possible. You were as fair as anyone could be, and even though you had your mistakes and faults just like anybody else, you gave the site as good a chance for survival as you could, and for that I thank you big-big. :) Keep on keepin' on my friend.

Yes, we are sure. He emailed Zok, Oddballz and me about it that morning and while at first we thought it was a hoax, subsequent emails confirmed it's authenticity I'm afraid.

Would you put up with having to scrounge to keep the site running? Pay out of your own pockets for when the expenses exceed the income - and totse ain't cheap to run - as happened a great deal of the time?

Yes, I have unbanned several people. But I am not going to do a wholesale unbanning. There are enough people saying who cares and spamming as it is.

Needless to say I have been very quick to ban. I'll be a Fascist to the end if that's what it takes to have totse go out without a ton of extra trash on the pages.

But don't worry, I'm only giving out 2 day bans for all violations. So it ain't so bad. :D

It was these two useless twits that took his site down for him, what with zok deliberately neglecting the site to get all Jeff's users over to his own site, and acidmelt abandoning it after power-tripping it to death. Then zok's too much a coward to even speak for himself on this over in IRC, but instead, he gets his lackey O_RLY to ban me from there so he can hide some more like the spineless kid he is. Well, we tried DaGuru, and we warned everyone what would happen, and our predictions came absolutely true. Hope these clowns are proud to be the ones to take down an Internet legend.
