Well, with the announcement of totse's demise ( http://www.totse.com/community/showthread.php?t=2188554 ), I figured it would be a good time to invite some of you folks to the IRC channel that was previously not to be spoken of.

We have a good deal of people from BLTC and, most importantly, h0ppin is permanently banned.

There ARE rules in place. If you come in planning on trolling, spamming, flaming, etc. etc. just don't bother. You'll only be wasting your time. Also, absolutely NO open source discussion aside from botanical sources. If one of the channel operators or half ops ask who you are just say I invited you.

The IRC info is:

For those of you unfamiliar with IRC, it's just a chat room program.

http://mirc.com is a good, easy to use free client, as is
http://xchat.org

Checking out the read me files will tell you how to set up server connection, and once you're connected just type in "/join #chemphoria" without the quotations.

So, if any of you want to have light hearted chat with like-minded people, by all means stop on by.

I hope to see some of you there, and some of you I'll ban on sight if you bother trying ;)

i will join if i am allowed? I thought you needed an invite. i alread have my name cashed on IRC it is ilovechronic. it says access to chemporia is blocked if you try and join through the totse server.

Everyone can, all I was saying is there are some people (and they know who they are) that I won't allow in the channel.

Only way to find out is to join, and if you don't get banned then it's not a problem ;)

Also: I'd appreciate it if you use your totse name. It's hard to keep track of people and I don't like having to ask who everyone is. We have some people who keep trying to circumvent their bans by using proxies and spoof hostmasks.

The general discussion forum is currently accessible but the drug forums are actively being worked on. They'll likely be available within an hour or two. The user base is growing fast and a lot of familiar faces are showing up. You're all welcome to register. Feel free to spread the word if you're liking the idea.
