Well, as they say: It's been real, it's been fun, but it hasn't been real fun.

No, seriously, over all totse has been a great pleasure to be a part of. [Yes I ended that with a preposition, so shoot me]. Granted there have been some times when it was less than fun - times when I came close to quitting. But over all it has been a very positive experience.

I've met some very cool people here and I've met even more smegheads. I found it a constant amusement that so many people got so bent out of shape over me. That people went so far out of their way to do things that they thought would upset me - like the Meta's daughter rape threads.

I think I was pretty fair in the way I treated people here**. Anyone who had a problem and actually took the time and effort to talk to me can attest to this. Maybe I was a hard ass in the way I made people follow the rules, but I think that I had a way more positive effect on the place than negative.

And I know some are going to come here now and get their last shot in - assuming they can get through with all the people scrambling to DL the files here.

I'm not going to list a bunch of people who I liked and respected here because you all know who you are and if you have to wonder, then you ain't one of them. Nor am I going list the assholes you all know who they are already.

And DaGuru, if you read this: I think the fact that I didn't ban you now that I could and not worry about consequences - or ban any of those who irritated me over the years I think that kinda proves a lot of what you've said about me to be wrong. If I were someone who banned people just because I didn't like them, now would certainly be the time for me to do that.

**: I even unbanned several people who asked if they could be unbanned to post a last thing or two.

You were a fair guy, although I didn't agree with your modding of SG, you did keep most of the idiots at bay. Thank you for being fair with any disputes I have had with you and I am sorry for any inconveniences I have caused you. Have a good one, Meta.

There actually very few people who I really dislike here. None that I would say I hate. You have to take a thing too seriously to be able to work up a decent hate. And things on the internet just don't rise anywhere near the level required for that.

It sure has been real. Real fun. Of course, we poured it on a little think at times, but what semi-crazy persons like we shouldn't? All in all, it a great experience, and I even got a chance to be a Totse mod for a few hours, which is a freak privilege not everyone gets to fall into unexpectedly. We'll go our separate ways now, but the memories will always hold dear. Bon voyage in all that you do.

I reversed the ban. In case you didn't know, you were banned by an IRC cop - slashnet's version of a mod. They are an Op in any room on slashnet.
