Japanese horror film in which the sleeper hit (The Ring) is the Hollywood remake of. While "The Ring" had more advanced special effects, I believe Ringu is the superior film.

The thing I found most interesting was the overshot of Japanese society and culture, which I think would have similar parallels to a white state if one were ever constructed. Japan is a fairly mono-ethnic society where individuals tend to respect each other, and there is virtually no multi-ethnic group conflicts, as in the US.

Japan is not ruled by the jews, either.

The film is subtitled.

Good movie. I saw the Jap one first, and I agree, it is better. That little girl at the end was freakin creepy! One of the few actually scary movies, that doesn't use cheap scares like sudden noises or something. Its atmospheric as hell, and even the acting is really good. I heard there were some sequals in Japan, but I also heard that they suck, so...
